Below are the conference registration fees for Hong Kong SAR residents. Please note that discounted fees are available only to current financial year members.

Sponsorships provided by The Law Society of Hong Kong (“LSHK”)

1.      LSHK will provide sponsorship of 60% of the registration fee to each member; or 75% sponsorship of the registration fee to each young member (with five years or less post-qualification experience) who attends all registered sessions.

2.      The sponsorship will only be eligible to LSHK members, trainee solicitors and registered foreign lawyers.

3.      A maximum of 150 sponsorships are available, on a first come first served basis.

4.      By selecting a sponsored rate,

(a)        applicants must attend all registered sessions, and agree to pay any outstanding sponsorship amount to the LSHK if they fail to do so.  Attendance of the social activities only will not entitle an applicant to apply for sponsorship;

(b)       applicants must provide full details of all funding received and any pending applicants for other financial assistance.  No sponsorship will be provided to an applicant who has received other financial assistance to pay the registration fee;

(c)        successful applicants must provide written feedback to the LSHK within 3 months of the conclusion of the conference and written feedback must include the following:

(i)          a confirmation they attended all registered sessions; and

(ii)         a brief description of their experience in participating in the conference, what they learnt and gained, how they could utilize the experience in their practice, and make recommendations for the improvement of conference.

Below are the registration categories referred to in the table of registration fees.

°LAWASIA Member
Individual LAWASIA Members for the 2019-2020 financial year residing in Hong Kong SAR.

*Young Lawyer – LAWASIA Member
This fee category is available only to LAWASIA Young Lawyer Members who are in their first five years of practice or 35 years of age or under, law students or recent law graduates.

**Young Lawyer – Non-Member of LAWASIA
This fee category is available only to LSHK young members with five years or less post-qualification experience.

Social activities are not included in the registration fee.

Language
All working sessions and conference materials will be provided in English.

Dress Code
The dress code for the conference and related functions is Smart Casual, however, for the 6th of November (Opening Ceremony, Plenary Session & Lunch & Guest Speech), the dress code will be Business Attire. The Gala Dinner dress code is National Dress or Business Casual.

List of participants
In order for your name and organisation to appear in the list of participants, which will be distributed at the conference, your registration form must be received by LAWASIA no later than 29 October 2019.
