Below are the LAWASIA categories referred to in the table of registration fees. In order to qualify for discounted registration rates for the 32nd LAWASIA Conference, a LAWASIA membership for the 2019-2020 membership year is required. Non-members may join LAWASIA prior to registering for the conference. Please see: https://www.lawasia.asn.au/membership.

⁺Early Bird
Early bird registration rates have been extended until end of September 2019.

°Young Lawyer
This fee category is available only to LAWASIA Young Lawyer Members who are in their first five years of practice or 35 years of age or under, law students or recent law graduates.

~Accompanying Guest
An accompanying guest is an individual (non legal professional) accompanying a delegate to event social functions only. Accompanying tickets are not for individuals who would otherwise need to pay for a full registration. The registration fee for an accompanying person includes the cost of attending the Welcome Reception and LAWASIA Cup.

Additional Information

Conference registration includes:

  • Access to all conference sessions.
  • Conference materials, including any available speakers’ papers
  • Opening Ceremony on Wednesday 6 November
  • Welcome Reception on Wednesday 6 November
  • Lunch on Wednesday 6 November, Thursday 7 November and Friday 8 November
  • One-way coach transfer on Wednesday 6 November, from JW Marriott to Renaissance Hotel for conference lunch
  • Tea and coffee during session breaks
  • Closing Ceremony on Friday 8 November

Accommodation, flights, visas and social activities are not included in the registration fees.

Language
All working sessions and conference materials will be provided in English.

Dress Code
The dress code for the conference and related functions is Smart Casual, however, for the 6th of November (Opening Ceremony, Plenary Session & Lunch & Guest Speech), the dress code will be Business Attire. The Gala Dinner dress code is National Dress or Business Casual.

List of participants
In order for your name and organisation to appear in the list of participants, which will be distributed at the conference, your registration form must be received by LAWASIA no later than 29 October 2019.
